Dugger Amateur Radio Club (DARC)
Constitution and Bylaw Amendments

Article 3:
Membership: Part B Dues; Amended to Read
Household Category:
Household has two or more Licensed Amateurs, and pays a reduced/family membership fee,
Carries one (1) vote per household

Individual Category:
Licensed Amateur who pays Individual Membership Fee.
May be more than one (1) Individual in household.
Carries one (1) vote per Individual

Article 8:
Nominations and Election of Officers: Amended to Read
1. Nomination of Officers shall be held the first meeting of October.
2. Election of Officers shall be held the first meeting of November.
3. Voting shall be by written ballot and counted by a committee of two members.
a. An Absentee Ballot may be requested either in person or by e-mail from the Secretary/Treasurer before November elections are held.
b. Absentee Ballot must be signed and placed in a sealed envelope. Opened only by Election Committee on the day of November Elections.
c. Ballot must be in possession of Secretary or Trustee before the start of November meeting.
4) Protests of any office shall be made in writing to the Secretary
no later than 10 days prior to the next scheduled meeting.
5) In the event of a tie, a run-off election will be held the first meeting of December
6) Ballots are to be available for inspection by any member upon request.
7) New Officers will take office the first meeting in January of the new year.


Article 4b:

Item 5 is Designated as Item 4: Amended to Read
Recording Secretary/Treasure:
Shall keep a record of the proceedings of all meetings.
Shall keep these minutes in a folder or minutes log book.
Keep a roll of members, containing such information as the name, address, call sign, and miscellaneous information.
Submit membership applications, carry on all correspondence, read all communications at each meeting.
Shall keep an accurate account of all monies received and expended; This shall be in the form of an accounts ledger, other than checkbook ledger. Containing but not limited too: Member's name and dues paid, and other miscellaneous expenditures and/or receivables.
Pay no bills over fifty dollars ($50.00) without proper authorization of the

Board of Directors.
At the end of his/her term he/she shall turn over everything in his/her possession
belonging to the club to his/her successor.
